An updated version of the DAB Radio software for the MobileInvent/Etheractive DAB radio is available as of May 2004. The new software version 4.5 works with Pocket PC 2003. The main advantage with PPC 2003 is the much improved Microsoft® Windows Media 9 video decoder which makes the IP over DAB video streaming capabilities much better. MobileInvent Sweden AB is providing interactive broadcast server technology and PDA based DAB/GPRS terminals for the multimedia DAB demo presented at the IBC. The demo is made in co-operation with NTL and Capital FM and is taking place in the NTL stand in Hall 1.259. The demo is also a World Premiere for Microsoft® Windows Media 9 content to be displayed in PDA enabled DAB receivers. The demo is featuring live content in combination with browser based interactivity with SMS and www as return path carriers.

are not the solution for large downloads to large user groups when it comes to
